Q: Is installation of PTRX-9700 reversible? Do I need to use a solder station?
Answer: Installation of PTRX-9700 is totally reversible which means that you can uninstall the unit at any time without modifying your ICOM IC-9700.

Q: How does PTRX-9700 work?
Answer: PTRX-9700 comprises multi-band high impedance probe along with an active RF combiner.  This allows user to monitor activated bands with their SDR adapter without any need for switching.

Q: Can I use PTRX-9700 along with the Leo Bodnar GPS injection board?
Answer: Yes, PTRX-9700 comes with a SMA bracket to extend the use for the external GPS input, so you can utilize both of them at the same time.  Make sure that you need install PTRX-9700 first, then the injection board.

Q: I cannot monitor the SHF(from 1240MHz to 1300MHz). What am I missing?
Answer: ICOM IC-9700 utilizes an internal transverter (specific to SHF) to acquire RF signal, therefore you need to set the frequency of your SDR adapter within 311MHz and 371MHz.

Q: Is there any warranty for the product?
Answer: Yes, we provide one year limited warranty. The customer is responsible for shipping costs.
